 A perched hummer simply thinking... awe, how cute! Though we often recognize them for their color and quick movements, I wanted to see them as something completly different - so here is the hummingbird perched and still and left in black and white. Still beautiful

Excellent image, and as you say, not the normal shot of a hummingbird. I shot one of a couple of birds flying and contrasted it to about this level. I agree with your concept and like the finished image.

Interesting take on the hummingbird, I like it. Very nicely done, imho.
