After looking at this shot, now I understand your comment on my Reflections without Mirrors entry much more...very similar look. Without the trees, it just wouldn't have the same effectiveness of scale. I like it.

I have to agree I like it with the tree line in the shot.

Wonderful lighting! I love the softness and peacefulness of this photo. Excellent work.

Just noticed comments below...crop is perfect, don't change a thing.

Oh yeah! Where is this?

I have a hard time agreeing with the suggested crop; I feel like I need the treeline for depth and scale, and the step back in treeline to the far right brings in the haze factor too...

Awsume shot! I love the colors and the sharpness of the grass. I also think the suggestion of perhaps cropping the trees is a good one. In any case, very nice shot.

Shot's almost directly up-sun; light's probably 15-20 degrees to the right of camera axis.

Best eye-catcher of your 3. I love the lines of the marsh leading off to the left and right. Are you shooting obliquely into the sun? Looks like the distant trees are shaded but can't tell which direction the light is coming from on the grasses. Nice shot. Hope you didn't get your feet wet.

this is a really nice shot and my favorite of the three that you posted today. Have you taken a look to see what it would look like if you cropped the trees in the backgropund out so that you lose the empty space in the top right of the picture. I'm sure some people would save that you should maybe make some minor adjustments to the colors and levels in PS, but I think it is great as is.

nice work as always!
