In terms of dof, focus, exposure values this is wonderful- I love the grass/'road line going off into infinity... Somehow the placement of the shoes lacks the impact of the rest of the image.
Close, so close to being in my top ten. The blocked up trees and the white sky were probably intentional but they ended up distracting me a little. The best "lone pair of trainers" picture in the challenge ;)
Like the low perspective and the idea to create a mini story or mystery from the challenge theme. Texture of road and high contrast of image work well with shoes themselves. Bland whiteness of sky lets it down a touch for me but interesting overall.
