I think this is a wonderful idea, perhaps cropped a little too closely- Perhaps just a hint of ankle would get the effect across with more umph. Also the lightness of the background is distracting to me. Hope this helps.

can't see much...

You've seen it done much better by the original artist. So copying a well trodded path is essentially pointless unless you can do it as well or better. Either that or have a completely fresh take on their theme. The shoe's cropped too much, and not even sharply focused.

I think I know what you were trying to do, but for me, I wish there was a little more of the sneakers and less of the ground.

I don't know many people that jump with their feet totally flat like that. ; P

nice work--a good example of how compositional rules can be broken to good effect. good tonal range. not sure about the border.

Great concept, not sure if it came off. The second shoe is a distraction in this particular composition. Tghe lighting on the shoe is very very attractive

if this was in focus, and a bit more of the shoe was showing, it would have been a really interesting shot

I love the idea but the final outcome isnĀ“t really hitting a spot with me as it is, I want too see more of the shoes, not just the soles. Anyway, one of the more original shots and I really like the DOF so I still gave it a higher than average score, 6 from me.

Kind of deconstructivist architecture, define more by what is not there than what is. Not usre I would like this outside of the challenge though.

Nice try. Maybe more shoe, since it's hard to tell what the suject is, except for the challenge is "Shoes".

u can barely c the shoes...maybe if they had been more in focus and it is grainie
08/31/2005 08:09:07 PM
The focus is bad and you can barely see the shoes. I don't really like it.
