Pedro here @ DPC edited the picture.. (thus the Pedro's touch) not sure what he did or how.. but its groovy ;)

Story about the dog: This sweetheart was in Tofino BC: Canada's Hawaii North. ~K shameless plug~ if you havent been, try to get there sometime because it's gorgeous.

Anyway this pup was on the beach and whenever you would try to get close to pet or provide some attention he'd turn his back on you and continue looking out into the ocean. Finally figured out his person was out surfing and the dog literally followed its person up and down the beach as he rode the waves. I had never witnessed such clear devotion from a pet and it moved me.

What a sweet story behind the picture! Dogs are amazing characters, aren't they? Lovely of you and Pedro to capture and share such a moment.

Love the darkness and the chocolate like colour.
Could’ve been one of my labs.

Hey thanks Justin, it was taken just around sunset (Tofino BC) .. perfect lighting for the silhouette.. ended up being a lucky shot you know the type when you get home and look at it.. it gives you pause. Great story behind that dog.. All of the post processing stuff was done by Pedro on here.. I'm still learning (my original shot is also posted) but yeah I kinda dig the duo-tone too *laughing* Now if only I knew how to do that!! thanks for you comments.

Cool shot! I really like the lighting, at one time of day was it taken? This is a great sillhouette, great job! I also like the clouds, the reflection off the water, and the duo-tone treatment.
