I think that this may have been better before the sun set so low. If the sun was still halfway in the frame you would have had more light. The picture is great, don't get me wrong. But for the title, Dark and Light, there isn't much light IMO. I like the people on the dock. I think that they add interest. The clouds are nice, just not enough contrast in them for me. Maybe if you played with levels a bit. I'm not sure if you should mess with it at all though. Overall, this is a nice picture and good luck in future challenges.

hello...photoshop out all the people except for the fisherman. then cut and paste him a wee bit further in from the edge and clone or crop out the wave at the bottom and you'll have something very nice to hang on the wall.

Nice photo! I like the textures in the cloudes. You captured the sun as well without blowing out the highlights.

Looks ominence. Hope I spelled that right. This photo could be really great with just a bit more detail. It is showing up very dark on my monitor, but so do my photos.I almost missed the tower in the darkness. Possibly if you try bracketing your exposures next time, you might get a better exposed shot with more detail.

Nicely captured. I like the people silhouetted. I wonder how this would look if the dark foreground wave was cropped out?

This would be a perfect pic if those people weren't there. As such, it is only very very good IMHO.

Nice image. The people add to the interest of the image but the clouds above are great. 8

Good capture... Would it have been possible to catch the lighthouse with it's light on? The people take away from the composition, but was probably unavoidable.

If it's a lighthouse, it scores high with me! This is really nice. The clouds are really great and the light is so soothing. Nice work! 9

Beautiful clouds. I assume it's dawn? Nice orangey tones amidst the gray blues of the rest of the shot. I love silhouettes!!
