My dog Bryher (the most patient model I have) at the dog beach in Chicago. I barely caught this shot before he sprinted off after another dog, which is what he is looking at outside the frame.

editing: darken slightly, increase contrast, increase saturation slightly, decrease cyan saturation slightly, clone out a couple of small specks, resize, USM

Nice shot. What got the dogs attention? May have been a lttile over sharpened but doesn't really hurt the photo.

I think you oversharpened this one because you can see a halo around the god. This would have been much better without the halo.

The sharpening halos are distracting.

That couldn't be Bear's dog, not with those back legs...

Nice capture. seems a little noisy.

Crisp, nice colors. The backside of a dog, well, it's not my favorite photo opportunity. Maybe next time it's face?

:-) My eyes want to look along with the dog and try and see what he (or she) is looking at. Nicely composed, crips, clean and good coloring. 8

nice shot but the dog seems to have a fading white outline around him which I think indicates excessive sharpening

Wish the pup was facing the camera! I have a dobe too and, well, she has really bad gas, SO seeing the tail pointing this way makes me duck. ANYWAYS.... nice shot. Well composed. Maybe bumping up the color of the water might help, IMO. Good luck!

Very good shot of a beautiful dog. Great composition and wonderful colours. Well done

I doubt that's the best looking end of that beast - turn the dog around and I'll add 2 points 5

I think there may be a better view of the dog

There is something with this that doesn't work for me.. I think it's the light around the dog, like it's been dodge up?

Awwww. . .this is great!!! I love the comosition of this.

oversharpening has cast a distraccting halo around the dog...

Love it!!!! Makes me want to find out what has captured his/her attention. Great Job.

I'd love this in black and white!!! But all animal shots get an extra point from me.
