 I had trouble coming up with an idea for the dairy challenge, so I resorted to the things at hand: a Guiness glass and milk.

This is my first attempt at a studio-style setup by the way. I am not 100% happy with the lighting (it could be brighter on the right side) but hey, it's late and I want to go to bed.

I hope I get lots of comments on how to improve this shot!

the reflection on the left is ok, the reflection on the right is distracting. I like the idea of the shot though. 6.

softer, more even lighting and glare reduction would have helped this picture a lot--

I dont like the idea of advertising beer. Otherwise the quality is good, but yor picture is also kind of boring.

Did you know that if one puts milk in a beer glass, the beer never quite foams the same way ever again? Learned that from a brewer. Like your photo except for that knowledge.

this is a good shot the reflections in the glass make me want to put a CPL in front of your lense but other than that, there is nothing wrong...on the flip side nothing really grabs me about it.....but thats just me....

Not a bad picture. It has good focus and meets challenge. The close crop is a little overbearing. Could use more lighting, IMO and the reflections on the glass are a little distracting.

Not enough interest. The glass is out of focus and the image is grainy. Seems like a last minute effort. Maybe try to work on your rule of thirds, rather than just centering your subject.
