 My first submission. I'm still learning but I had a lot of fun composing the shot so I figured I'd submit it and hope constructive advice will follow.

Shot in Macro mode with Post-editing: Auto Levels, minimal curves and contrast.

Thank you to everyone for your helpful comments. I'm planning on purchasing a dSLR soon (I loved my old 35mm SLR) and hope I'll be able to finally get the pictures to show up the way I plan. The manual modes in the A70 is just too limited. Thank you.

The white balance seems to be a bit off. The milk looks somewhat pink on my monitor.
