This is my winner for the challenge! The best of them all. This is not only classy in appearance, but speaks to the theme. There is not only the representation of an iced dairy product, but also the swirling suggestion as to its liquid origins (complete with suggested "drip") and the mixing motion that helped produce it. I love the repeated whorls in the base of the glass container as well. Adding this to my favorites as a reminder of an outstanding challenge entry.

Great exposure, and the light in the background really adds some *zing* to it.

The background is kind of distracting.. But nice approach to the challenge.

Nice shot. Maybe a little bigger scoop of ice cream would have balanced out the lines in the background.

I really like the ice cream and its perch. I am a little distracted by what looks like a neon sign in the background.

I like it but the background is disorienting to me. Probably I just don't get it.. 7

For me, the background adds so much to this shot and I like the overall composition. Very nice.

I like the lighting and the effect, but the background kind of takes away from the subject IMO

Nice whites. The white glow dripping down at the top is a little distracting

Very dynamic. How did you make the swirly pattern in the background? It adds a tremendous amount of drama and interest. Great idea with the upside-down wine glass.

cool backround element.

i wish that more of the stem/possibly the entire padistal where in the shot...
