To those who wondered...those are very small styrofoam balls in the bottles. The large one was given to me as I used to live in the house that once was that dairy farm.
And yes, I was out of milk!

Good desat. I think the composition would be better if you switched the bottles. What's that in there by the way? Dry milk? 7.

Is that milk that's been in those bottles all these years? (Sorry for being silly). I'm assuming there's a reason for the styrofoam bead looking stuff, or is it dried milk? Presumably so the labels will stand out? The bottles are really neat, and I think it would have been worth the sacrifice of liquid milk for the sake of the shot. JMO.

You should have put real milk in the bottles. Very good lighting and composition, though.

I cannot figure out what is in those bottles...

Filled with milk and I'd 10 it.

Why styrofoam beads in the beautiful bottles, why not real milk? With milk, this photo would be tops.

A nice glimpse of history. I think I would have preferred the bottles reversed.

I gave this a nine... would have given it a ten if there was real milk in there.

I like the selective desaturation. I'm not quite sure what to think about the little balls, but sorta like it. Perhaps you tried milk and it was too boring...8

Nice shot! I like the contrast of the background vs. the color on the bottles. It does indeed make me think of the milk bottle history.

Love the old bottles, wish you put real milk in them though, think it would have more impact.

I like the old bottles, but were you out of milk???

Why isn't there milk in the bottles?

your milk looks more like cottage cheese! (that's supposed to be funny in a stupid way) Not a big fan of selective desat, but it seems to work here, composition works well too.

Not sure about those white styrofoam beads, but I love the old bottles and the placement. What if you'd just used a white background and done it in sepia? It might've evoked the same idea without the "fake" additional stuff in the bottle. Just my take on it. :~D

Don't get the polysterene balls, but its surprisingly attractive. Like your selective color technique. Greyscale is deep, color is vibrant. 8

Edit: As selective desaturation was allowed: Good effect in this picture!

Selective desat? Hmmmm.... I don't think this is allowed in Basic Editing. The image in itself is great. I like the bottles and the background works well with this image. What are those? Styrofoam balls? :)

Nice pic of some antique bottles but you should've left the salt pellets or whatever out of them I think

I can't believe you didn't put milk in this, the bottles are so wonderful!
