We had a BLAST!
Bonaire is part of the Netherland Antilles, down by Aruba, sometimes called the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao). It is just off the coast of Venezuela. Andruw Jones, of the Atlanta Braves, is from Curacao.
Bonaire is the most "laid back" of the 3 islands. It is all about SCUBA, snorkeling, shore diving (we NEVER get on a boat and we are now too spoiled!) wind surfing and kite surfing. The food is awesome, the people are friendly and the crime is low. It is paradise to us! |
