 Taken in Hallstatt, Austria last year. This place was interesting. Bit if info:

The Charnel-House or Beinhaus (bone house) it is located behind the Catholic Parish Church on the mountain in Hallstatt. Since 1600 it has been used as a place of rest for human remains exhumed from old graves. The skulls are ornately decorated to remember family members long since passed.

This memorial just hit a nerve in me. The feeling was a bit indescribable looking at so many people long since passed. Some of the skulls date back to the early 1800's. It's a very humbling place.

this is really creepy, maybe if you would have shot it in an angle it would have been better, so the cross wouldnt be right in the middle

Wow. Places like this have always intrigued me. I find it fascinating how people are able to handle and sort the bones of loved ones like this. What a moving image. I wonder what kind of effects you could get with different camera angles and lighting? Very cool, and creepy.

This is just disturbing but it's a fact of life. The image is under exposed a tad. Maybe if edited differntly, the exposure might work to give it more of a dark feel to it. I'm curious to see this place for myself.
