The progression of time can be inferred by comparing the babe foot to the larger hand, but otherwise this image...while delightful....is not necessarily the most effective way to freeze a moment of time into a capsule. Indeed, it better portrays continual time....

BEAUTIFUL in a loving and tender way. Great detail, lighting and focus. Excellent use of B&W. This has got to be a ribbon photo if not the winner. 10 + more, if I could. Adding it to my favorites. Good luck.

This can represent any time in any era and isn't exactly something you can put into a time capsule to symbolize a specific year.

all the other people were talking about items but never people. I like the idea of the time of a baby turning into an adult, nice color, nice cfhoice and nice setup, 10

Great use of feet and hands. I'd darken it up a tad. Just love the composition and the fact that you show the lines in the feet and hands. Nicely done.
