 Taken while on vacation in Seattle. This is the space needle. Not going to do well, because it doens't really represent an era in time, but oh well.

After challenge:
TOTALLY should've changed the title to 1962 Worlds fair or something like that...was beating myself up all week. AGHHLJKSADKJL! Ah well. Next time I'll maybe put some THOUGHT into my shots instead of just entering for the sake of entering, heh...

Year later:
haha. took third place at the clackamas county fair in colour architecture this morning. go me. =)

Great use of circles for composition. I think that this shot was scored low just because it had a very abstract connection to the challenge --- in a Free Study this would have probably topped off above 6.

that's how they said the future would be! i like that you photographed the building from an interesting angle, and you cropped in tightly on a detail of it, rather than including the entire building.

I'm assuming this is the Seattle Space Needle. I know that the Space Needle was built for the 62 World's Fair, so it doesn't get me thinkging of 2005. The photo itself is a cool llok at the underside of the tower and is a nice compsotion

This reminds me of the world fair. Perhaps the title should read "Past".
