I was captivated by the "feelers" on these flowers and how abstract they could become.

pretty, and nicely lit, but I wish the entire flower were in focus.

I really like this, the colours are beautiful and textures really tactile!

perhaps could have done a better job with the cropping the little bit on the left bothers me slightly...... other than that it is a really good job... well done and good luck

A bit out of focus in the foreground...I'd love to see sharper edges.

Good alternate view. DOF enhances the subject.

I'd crop off the far left to get rid of plant behind bloom.

nice composition - I like the way the "feelers" shoot out to the right. the out of focus green makes a good back ground, but I wish the dof was enough to sharpen all the petals. I would try when you are shooting, to remove the other flowers/buds, or angle it so this flower stand alone.

This image has a real nice sensitivity to it. Just wishes those other flower buds (particularly the one to the left near the edge) weren't there but you had no control over them other than vandalizing them. The light on the flower is perfect. Great detail of the various parts of the flower. Nice placement with giving the flower plenty of room to 'breathe'. The feelers are the showstopper. I must get some of these flowers if they will grow here. 9

Very interesting angle. I'd like to see a bit more Depth of field and focus on the (pistils, spelling?). It looks like the camera focused on the pink portion in back of the petals. I still love the bright colors. I like the way you blurred the back ground. Jacko. 7

It's a refreshing angle, thank you.
