 The sand is gypsum, and looks and feels like salt. It was raining heavily until just before we got to the dunes. It stopped raining, and we got this fantastic double rainbow (you can't see the second rainbow in this picture). The picture seems kind of off balance to me, but I can't figure out what it is.
