I couldn't agree more with Sunshyne that you have a unique way of looking at the world around you and I for one find it inspirational to a degree :) I really like this one, has almost a sense of calmness and power at the same time for me anyway. Great job girl :)

Awesome shot!!

I've just recently joined DPC and am enjoying reviewing others' work. A lot of yours is great. I like the way you "view" things.

I'd love for you to go onto my portfolio and comment on any photos. I'm really trying to get some good advice to help me improve my photography.

Thanks everyone for the great comments.

I wasn't going to enter this, but someone talked me into it. Glad I did, as it is currently my 2nd highest score.

The original had a great deal of noise. This is the first time I've used Noise Ninja. Not sure I used it correctly, but it did help considerably.
Thanks again to Bear_music for pointers on editing, and convincing me to enter it.

The horizon appears to be slanted, but this is an optical illusion. It's almost impossible to identify the actual horizon as it actually conisists of two different islands. I think the lack of lights on the left contributes to this illusion.

I flip-flopped on cropping out the bird. Do wish it were larger and more in focus.

Damn this is what I was trying to shoot 15 min ago and couldn't figure out the settings. Nicely done. Good luck in this challenge.

I just keep coming back to this...I just love the dark subtle colors...I know I'm looking at a thunderstorm but there is still something very soothing and quiet about this image...perhaps it's the bird...or the calmness of the water...I don't know, but I like it very much.

Good shot, it may benefit from a tighter crop.

7 - This is a very striking shot. There are two things I would change. First, the horizon is a little stanted. Second, there is a fair amount of noise, particularly in the shadows on the water and the upper clouds. Perhaps a lower ISO would have helped.

What is the outline over on the lower left? I don't know if that was what your subject was, but I can't really tell what it is. The sky is very nice, though. The cloud looks like a galloping horse.

think this picture might have more impact cropped. The bird in the picture is interesting but unfortunately it is too small. I think you have captured the storm in the sky very well for that reason I think this picture is very good

Beautiful sky. I love the dark gray/plum coloration. The wooden piece sticking out could be cropped out in my opinion. Otherwise - lovely. 7
