Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Long Exposure (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Lens: Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di for Canon
Location: Backyard
Date: Jul 29, 2005
Aperture: f2.8
ISO: 800
Shutter: 4.0 Seconds
Galleries: Abstract, Nude
Date Uploaded: Jul 30, 2005

Cloned out a few distracting objects, cropped to size, saved to web. Used chemical light sticks for light and a small handheld LED flashlight to wash the model's body. Didn't turn out like I hoped, but what to do with all those damn chemical light sticks?

Naked bums... Always a great subject matter :) but perhaps a bit (deliberatley?) soft to appease most voters.

I love the soft focus/blur look. It gives the whole photo a nice soft feeling and works almost as good as an abstract shot. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <7>

It's a little blurry, but the color variation really works

Too much blur. NOTHING is in focus. And the lights in the hot tub are way too bright.

Great idea but execution not too good. Nothing is in focus when it appears as though it is meant to be. If you meant it to be out of focus then perhaps use the DOF to at least get some part of the pic in focus.

OK -- I'm thinking this model should have kept perfectly still and you should have moved something else!!!! Keep this idea alive!

Good motive but out of focus of severe camera shake. It would have been good.

Either the focus is off or the camera moved. Looks like a great place to hang out, especially with her.
