I like the reading light, does a nice job spotting the reader. I could do without the clock, but the title wouldn't fit as well, then.

Great lighting and color balance. Lose the LED clock as it distracts from the overall image as your main subject tells the story alone. A solid 9.

I just don't see it...first thing that comes to mind is..."turn off the light and maybe you'll get to sleep!".... Nice pic though...

Very nice shot but I think the clock is a distraction.

I like this quite a bit, the lighting and idea are great. I think you should crop this tighter to place the person in the lower left corner of the frame and crop the top down to just above the lamp. eliminating the edges of the curtain and minimizing the illuminated corner above the lamp or even eliminating the tall lamp all together. Good detail.

I like this a lot. You were brave in including the clock. Could easily be mistaken for a time stamp! Again, impressive visual.

very good use of light and shadows. two things i might have changed would have been removing the clock since its so near to the edge that it is more of a distraction rather than narrative element, and imo the tungsten torchiere lamp since it is a different color of light could have been off. But then again the photo is about how the room was at that moment in time.
