Challenge: Long Exposure (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-20D
Lens: Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
Location: Williamstown, MA
Date: Jul 29, 2005
Aperture: 5.6
ISO: 200
Shutter: 58 seconds
Date Uploaded: Jul 29, 2005

Canon on tripod set to bulb
Sony on table in front of it with all lights taped over, set to self timer
Three chairs - made it easier to get my placement
Lights out and window covered - totally dark room
Shutter locked open with remote switch
Fired Sony three times for flash - repositioned myself between flashes - was not easy firing the flash since every time it has to be set to self timer and doing it in the dark was interesting to say the least

Thank you for the comments...I do appreciate them. I guess if I was a monkey it would have done better. Oh well. It was a first for me in more than one way so I am not disappointed in the least.

WOW, I will have to try something like this one day. For your first try at this kind of photo you literally mastered it. Well done. Too bad I did not vote on this challenge.

Definitely one of the best executions of this theme. A great timed exposure with all elements so richly focused and detailed.

Excellent clarity. The photo itself doesn't convey "long exposure " but I can believe it was done. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <7>

This is really good. I like the clarity of each one of you. Nice lighting. I wish it were bigger.

Wow! I've tried multiple exposures a number of times, but never quite achieved the sharpness you've got here. Looks like you've used flash multiple times as well. Perfect!
