Great lighting. The paper on desk and cup all work well together. It's a quibble, but the yellow of the pencil seems to belong to the wrong color palette: natural wood or some other earthtone would be better.

Looks WAY to complicated to me. Just get rid of the yellow hue in this picture and you would have a fairly decent shot.

If you could change the angle, it should look better. I'm seeing too many shots from over head.

I think the problem you're having with the equations is it looks like you're out of coffee...fill that cup up :)

looks like you could use a refill! I like the lighting and you must be left handed from the angle your pencil is at or you just placed it there for the shot! 8

i like the composition and the mood. especially like how the light is shone on the crumpled paper and casting a shadow on the paper. background, is interesting and well suited to the composition. if there's any bad comment, i'd like to point out is, maybe the use of blur isnt very nice. i would have preferred a little sharper focus for this shot. well done. 9
