The colors could be adjusted in contrast a bit to bring them out. Use levels and see what beauty lies beneath this a bit over exposed image.

Lee, one of the things to do when creating an image is ask yourself, "Why am I taking this picture? What exactly is it that impels me to click the shutter?" If you examine this on your own before you shoot, the viewer will better understand your purpose. During the editing process, ask, "What do I want the viewer to think/feel/see when they look at this image? What do I think/feel/see when I look at this image?" With the answers to these questions, post-processing is often much much easier. In this particular image, my eyes don't rest on anything because nothing stands out. The colors are vibrant but they compete with the linearity of the 'marching windows.' My eyes are repeatedly drawn to the way the street was cut off and I try to imagine what was there. I'm not sure this was your intent. A good exercise is to return to the scene and try different points of view. Something that may be interesting would be on the roof of the building across the street. This would allow you to emphasize the repeating pattern of the windows while using the vibrant colors as a balance against the repetition. Of course, you would need to go really wide angle for that shot. This image technically is sound; it just suffers from a lack of purpose in the viewer's eye. Just my point of view - others may vary...

you said brutal - im givng the kind of advice id like to get on my bad picutres:

this photo is boring. looks like the average tourist photo of "their building" or their hotel. the sky doesnt go well. overall, unless this was part of a trip or maybe shot for some other reason (like memories) it has no artistic value to me.

feel free to rip my weak collection. =)

EDIT: its also crooked

I'm not real crazy about this picture. Seems rather flat. Maybe a boost in saturation and/or contrast would help a little. However, the composition isn't all that interesting. Perhaps including the sidewalk and part of the street would be more interesting.

This one really doesn't do much for me. There's nothing that really asks the eye to stop and look at it. Maybe if the color or shading were more dramatic?
