The lighting is a bit harsh on the sides. The DOF works well with me as well as the border though I prefer not placing borders in my images.

blown-out highlights and afressive oversharpening make this image a little harsh for my tastes. The compositon is nice, and the sense of "circular blur" on the BG surface is really sweet.
