Very crafty! I'd like to see a different background with this. The table reflected and made a bit of a hot spot and the black edges are a little distracting.

Clever idea... here is why I marked it down
1. The light reflecting off the table is harsh and distracting
2. It would have been better had the ribbon been slightly smaller so the table could fill the entire back ground
3. Lighting in from the side instead of directly above and shooting from a lower angle would have brought out more texture

Dude/dudette, you got way too much free time on your hands but you failed in one aspect, you should have put blueberry jam on the toast in order to get a blue ribbon ;o) Now I am forced to give you only a 9 so you don´t win the challenge but get the yellow ribbon.

Clever idea. Made me smile. The wood background is a little disappointing, though. From the black I can see on the sides, I think a solid black background would have been teriffic!

What a cute idea! Unfortunately, the lighting just doesn't seem right - and I think it would be best if the background was either all black or all table. Nice idea, though. :)

Good shot, but I would have dyed your bread blue for this one reason: Do you really want the first thing people to think of when they see your picture is "brown ribbon" just a thought, good luck!

lol - very funny idea.. and it actually looks like a ribbon too! is that a yellow (beige?) you're predicting? :P - perhaps slightly less direct/harsh light owuld have revealed the textures in the bread better?

Funny! You really shouldn't award yourself the "brown", though. It's bad luck! A nice idea that woudl be nicer without the light glaring right smack in the middle.
