| Interesting shot. Not gross the way some skin closeups can be. I would have liked to have seen a more creative use of lighting here. |

| cool idea ... would have cropped out the blue background. could also have used a bit more sharpening. |

| There's texture there, but it's a bit 2D and also a little out of focus I think. A more acute angle may have worked better to bring out the 3D and give perspective... |

| Looking for texture brought out by the use of light - I see the most on chin profile, which is off focus. There is some visible 3D texture in the cheek/jowl area. But I would have liked to see more use of light specific to the challenge requirements. That said, it's not a bad photo, just not a great one. |

| I know it's there, but I don't really *see" much texture. His profile (chin) is out of focus. |

| As far as meeting the challenge, you did, but I can't help but feel like the creativity/artistic vision is missing here...it definitely is more of a snapshot. |
