I was looking around for an unusual object with a photogenic texture, when I came home and saw my own door bell. This one is no longer in use, but is still in the doorway as quite a charming remainder of days gone past.

Nice, I like the subdued colours, just think you framed it a bit too tight towards the top, I would have wanted to see the whole button.

Heja Sverige!

nice, but I disagree with your cropping. I want to see more of what's above and below. Lovely colours and texture, though.

This is great. The metal work appears very old.

A surprising shot - I like it. I do wish that the top of the circle around the doorbell had been in the picture instead of cut off, but I really like the nameplate. Great show of texture.

This is a perfect shot to play with filters. Black and white? Adding grain? Maybe sepia? I'd shoot it from an angle so it's not so "target" centered.

cropping isnt very pleasing and there seems to be a weird rotation to the entire photo. maybe its just the angle. colours are pleasing and suits the mood.

I like the "feel" of this one, but I would have cropped it so that we got the whole circle of the bell push.
