 This is a rubberband ball that I started 18 years ago when I broke my arm and couldn't continue my paper route. I put all of my unused rubberbands in a ball and yes, it is solid rubberbands all the way through. It gets a new layer once a year or so. It started out at about 4 inches in diameter and is now at about 8 inches. My kids love it.

My background is an unironed shirt laying on my bed. The only light sorce is a small lamp. I crop, contrast, brightness, and a border.

I've seen a couple other rubber-band shots, but I like this one the best. Good color, shadowing, and composition. 7

I might have liked this more if you had removed the color cast caused by using incandescent light source.
