It captures the texture of the elephant very nidely. And his expression. I'm a little unsure the slurping water adds anything. Not that the photographer had any choice in this, but there is somethng about the nature of the background that seems wrong - I think it has to do with the green overpowering the subject. And I wonder whether this would be better in B&W. |

nice stop action on the water. would like to see a little more depth in the range of tones/contrast. |

This is such a great elephant shot! I love it! I almost entered one of an elephant just having taken a drink, but I'm glad I didn't because this one is so much better. You have a great foreground and background, and the composition of the elephant is wonderful!!! Excellent job!!!!

Having a spelling error in your title makes me think you don't really care enough about the pic and lessens the impact. |
