| Initially, I thought a groups of trees isn't a texture, but on a second look, you have created a texture out of the trees. Almost looks like a painting on velvet. |

| I love the texture of the forest. Great capture and a creative idea for the challenge.. Any special reason the image was so small? |

| Perhaps a bit more contrast. You did a very good job of depicting texutre of the pines, though. Even at such a distance, you can still make out the detail. 7 |

| Great idea for the challenge. I think if you got more of a close up of the pine trees you could see their texture better. |
