 I liked the three different textures in the same breed of the eggs and decided to shoot some pictures before making my b'fast.

I did not comment on this during the Texture voting and I should have. The composition is good and I like the warm tones of the eggs against the gray/black tones of the counter. It didn't totally knock me out, but it wasn't a bad photo at all. I gave it a 6 and had it been in a different challenge like perhaps "color variations" or "Three," I might have given it a 7 or 8.

The main reason this didn't do well is probably because eggs aren't that interesting. Many images in the challenge are texturally fine, well taken shots but litterally as dull as toast.

Would like to see more even lighting on the eggs. Not bad at all, though. Nice contrast in texture.

Great eggs, nice choice of the three shades of brown. Shadow on the bottom egg is a little distracting, but oh, what the heck, they're eggs and I love egg pictures :)

I kinda like it... both textures. The shadow on the egg at the bottom is a bit distracting.

very nice, but i'm semi-bothered by the haloing (?) that is appearing around the edge of the eggs. other than that, the colors and texture look great on eggs and sand.
