This is a great humorous shot that I had given a good score. Independence is not being afraid to stand on your own and to be different. I think both of those wre captured in this image. DOF is perfectly centered against the green bean. Good job and I wish there were more images such as this out there. I like the fact that it is different and not what you would normally expect when you hear the word Independence.

Excellent anthropomorphism! I feel as helpless as that green guy, but making my statement nonetheless. I like the DOF you chose, as well as the height from which you shot.

Toooo funny... I think this is very well done. Annoyingly (because I don't want to nitpick) my eye keeps getting pulled to the dark beans at the bottom left corner and that darkness kind of weighs down in the corner of my eye even when I focus elsewhere. Still an 8 though!

Very, Very funny. I like this alot. The focus appears to be more on the flag than the green bean. Still, I highly approve. Nice lighting.

Aww!!! That's cute. I really like it. It's focused around the center. It shows me in a very surprising way what independance is.

good visual representation of the challenge topic; i think having everything in focus may have added to the threateningness of the beans, and there's really no need to direct the eye using shallow DOF.

Kind of funny and good execution. I would have dropped the flag, though, or placed it out of focus. It distracts.

Uh oh! Poor thing! I think a slightly wider DoF so the front beans werent so OOF would improve the shot. 7

Humorous take on the challenge. This is pretty funny! The foreground is a tad blurred, but maybe you did that on purpose. Love the flag. A for imagination.
