Nice pic. Anyhow, just wanna know how the 300mm f/4 lense responded to D70 when u took this shot: -
1. Did you set to Continuous 3f/s or it was just a single shot, & was it set to Dynamic AF or etc.
2. Did u use a tripod for this shot?
By looking at the shot, I would say that the sharpness was at the rider\'s helmet (see the red stripe) & not at his sunglasses.
Just think about to get this lense for my collection... if it is good.
Thanks

Seems like I've seen this shot 100 times, but it always impresses me. Real excellent timing for a shot not as easy as some may think.

8 - Good shot, good character, shows the effort and endurance. Good mix of bold colors. Criticism; slight rotation perhaps and a different crop. More focus. Maybe slighter tighter angle to get more detail in the face.

Very nice shot. I would have probably cropped it larger, but I think maybe I would have been wrong to do so. Great job.

Good perspective, colour, exposure and composition however I feel that just a little more DOF is needed to provide just a tad more definition in the trailing riders.

Great composition. You've caught the lead rider in perfect focus and blurred the back field just right. This photo really works.

I like this how ever a little more depth would have been nice while still keeping it shallow.
