| DMC because it says to capture the moment of a sport..all this is doing is capturing a well taken photo of a bird. |

| 2 - DMC - Perhaps a sport in some circles, but definitely not a 'sports action' shot. Nice picture of the bird but - not what you were challenged to do. |

| Absolutely stellar nature shot--great composition, very sharp. But it doesn't have the feel to me of a sports shot, though falconry definitely qualifies. Seems like looking at the photo you should be able to guess which category it might belong to. |

| Bit of a squeeze to get a nice bird shot into the sports theme. If the shot is about falconry, where's the falconer? Low score for that. Sorry. Nice shot though, apart from the flash highlights. |

| Even if it was necessary, it's still unfortunate what use of the flash did to the picture (too much reflection off the beak). Great picture otherwise. |

| Nice sharp photo however the band of light at the top is a bit distracting. Also, as composed this is a bit of a stretch for the challenge. For this to work I believe a wide angle shot with a person wearing a leather gauntlet and hand in the air as if they had just released the bird. |

| I feel this is an example of trying to shoehorn an image into a challenge. Without the title, this would not work at all. Sorry, it just doesn't meet the challenge to me without a handler in the image. |

| Nice eagle, kind of heavy for falconary. There appears to be a bit too much grain showing on the feathers, Neat Image a bit next time. |
