Cute snapshot.

9 - Nice shot. I like that there seems to be maybe three 'sets' of people within this shot that are all focused on something different, and you have captured that. I like the sepia?, adds to the character. Criticism; difficult as anything you do, cropping, coloring, would likely detract from the 'set' aspect I just explained. Good 'little people' action shot. I think the frame works too.

nice image

nice photo. the black and white works great to give it a nostalgic feel instead of seeming like just a snap shot.

Border's a tad thick for my taste, but I love the shot!

Would have been the best photo with just the kid on first and no background players, other then possibly a angle where you would see him watching the batter in the background would have made this my top photo , but still a great shot.

Ah yes out pastime. Everything that can be done with photo and baseball has probably already been done. so redo must be perfect. This shot is nicely composed. I like the detail and where you chose to focus. The color you put in to it is also a very good choice. Very well done

Great composition. I like the choice of bw here. It reduces distraction and puts the focus on the foreground subject. Very well done. You will probably receive comments about the frame. I like it, but it may be a bit too wide - a little overdone. 9.

Great shot, but I'm not a fan of the border. 7

i ilke ths feel of this shot...the anticipation....the border might be a little large

Excellent DOF, nice composition. It would have been really cool if you would have been looking down from thrid base and got the batter in full swing as number 9 leads.

Looks familar. Why BW? DOF could be a little more.

Awesome pic! Brings back some really good memories!
07/13/2005 07:54:16 PM
What a great pose! I think I would have liked this better just isolating on the foreground figure.

This picture makes me smile. Nice color treatment. I love how ready he is to go, and I like the composition's balance.

I've always considered borders a waste of space but you've really shown how they can be used to great effect!
07/13/2005 07:56:52 AM
Nice comp, lighting, dof. Lacking action though.
07/13/2005 06:15:07 AM
maybe less frame more picture - I like the frame but with only 640px to show your picture then the frame is taking alot of space. - this is just a suggestion and will not affect my voting.
