Nice work on the normal family photo. The background was an excellent choice, especially with the dark sky. Lighting is adequate on the family members. The sand is extremely messy and unorganized, which makes it look really grainy on the monitor. |

| This is a nice portrait. My first thought was that it was perfect. Then I thought perhaps it should be more centered. Then I realized I was trying too hard. This simply a very good family portrait. |

its not for the technical aspects but i really like this image
soo symphatic and rare i guess the multiracial aspect
the composition is just wonderful and so is the background
plus it totally speaks family

| Looking for something more abstract for the challenge, or perhaps candid. While a very nice family portrait you have here (colors pose, smiles) its a little to ordinary a photo to get real high points from me. I do love the beach scene and the colors of the sand though. |

| This is a fantastic photo. Besides the fact that there are a bunch of people together a viewer senses family by the body language presented. Very nicely taken. Light seems to be refelcting off the sand onto the little boy causing him to look a little ?overexposed? but the rest is fantastic. |

| See, no wrinkles. I like the composition and the setting here. I don't generally like this kind of a family photo: posing, with induced smiles. Nothing personal, and absolutely nothing against the models. It just doesn't make much sense for me from the photography viewpoint. |

| The family seems to be just cut and pasted into the background. I like their expressions and the peole are nicely done, but they just look plunked down in front of a backdrop. |
