Very interesting...I am not sure what to make of it, but I like it.

More headroom for the statue in the foreground would have improved the composition.

Nice try, but the post processing really hurt this entry. There is a big halo around the main and background subjects that needs some work, and the gravestone is almost blown out, with no texture at all. The shadows are extremely dark, and the main subjects head would look better complete.

I think I get what you were going for, but I think the cropping might have hindered your imagery, a little. The composition isn't very strong. I think you need a different perspective...maybe more sky too. Not sure.

I wish the lighting wasnt so harsh on the stone at the bottom so the words were a little more readable, but I think its also partially my monitor so I'll give you the benifit of the doubt :)

A new twist on the challenge. Good original thinking.

to narrow a crop for it to do really well. however you have a stunning image here. the B&W works well.

I like the composition and subject, but the lighting is too bright. I can see that you darkened the sky somewhat by the halo left around the FG statue. The same image shot on a cloudy day would be wonderful.

not sure about the composition - the angle is not right to me

interesting subject, the statue is really beautiful. i'd really like to have seen it be a more typical size, ie. not so narrow.
