Good theme for a picture. I don't like that they aren't in actual playing positions. Good exposure and framing though.

I like the reflection of the pieces in the 'black' fields. You did a good job with the composition and the use of black as the bacground color.
I got a few remarks, though: The pieces are slightly out of focus, and the 'thing' behind the last chesspiece works distracting to me, also does the border of the board in the down-right corner. The pieces also got a kind of magenta color cast (is that how you call it in english?), wich I don't like, but that's subjective off course. Regards, Marco.

Good job on capturing the glass and reflections. I think it might be even better if cropped tighter on both left and right sides so edge to edge is soldiers.

There seems to be something on the edge of the chess board beyond the last pawn. Hiding or removing it would have completed a very clean photo.
