 April 30,2003 was a fantastic day of snowboarding at Alpine Meadows, Lake Tahoe. This is the view from the top of the Summit chair at Alpine Meadows. April has produced more snow than January, February, and March combined. On this day I had some great powder turns in the morning, and some fun halfpipe riding later. Alpine Meadows is one of my favorite's!

The shot is fine, lighting and color a little flat (a problem I have frequently!). Aspect ratio is uncommon for a standard postcard, and I think I'd use a different color for the border.

Frame is a bit too much, and the photo pulls the eye all over. I like the near mountain and the 'Alpine Meadows' is nicely done, but the cloud in upper left and the text lower left is distracting.

I love the font and clouds and composition of this image. I feel the snowy hill in the foreground should either get more focus or less. As is, it kind of attracts attention just because it is white, so it steals attention away from the rest of this lovely image. It also makes the greenery at left quite dark in contrast.

A beautiful photo which just screams "postcard"! The frame is not really enhancing the photo too much though, but of course that is personal opinion.

This looks a little too hazy for this shot. The water is great as is the mountains, but I think its just not quite there yet. Great scenery here though

I love Lake Tahoe. What a great area.....beautiful shot......love the sun, sky.

the border here looks more like framing than it does a postcard, though I could also see it as a postcard, just not quite what I'd expect. The image is pretty, wonderful angle. Overall this isn't bad, but could be improved a bit
