About this shot: A series of five pictures "stitched" together and printed as a panorama poster measuring four feet in length and one feet wide (later shortened to three feet). I made this especially for a friend who grew up in this area. Much to my surprise and delight (this was my very first attempt at panoramic shot), he loved it and has hung it up in his living room. :-)

Yes, I know, you can see the "stitches" especially if you view it at a distance. They show up as defined shades of blue in the sky. The poster, at a closer look, didn't display this oversight which is kind of fortunate. As aforementioned, this was my first attempt at panorama and the blending of the stitches is a lesson I will be sure to keep in mind the next time I attempt another panoramic shot.

Very nicely done. I love to see this in a larger size.

I think your first attempt at panorama was successful. You should feel good about it. Makes me want to try my first panoramic stitching...maybe :-)

Good picture. I like how the brighter/nearer houses on the left balance out the bright dock on the right.

Like tsheets said before me, it would be great to see this fullsize to get a better appreciation of the image.

I really like Panoramic shots, but resizing them so small just doesn't do them justice. Good first attempt (much better than my first try). The two biggest tips on doing them is 1. Set your settings based on the brightest part of the panoramic view and use manual mode with those same settings for every frame. 2. Do the panoramic with the camera in portriat orientation, particularly if you are going above 2-3 frames.

Cool! I've never tried this, and I think it looks pretty neat. I, too, agree with cloning out the handrails.

Excellent work on stitching this panoramic. I agree with the previous comment that the rail could get cloned out to improve the overall view.
The blue tone of the sky has some shift to it where the individual shots had a bit off lighting difference. You might be able to correct that with the dodge/burn tools.

A nice scenic view

Hard to tell from this size, but looks like a great first attempt at a panoramic. Only real suggestion I would have on this one would be to clone out the metal railing on the right side, so as to have just water.
