I agree that you might do a little bit of color-correction, but I think the grain and the lighting on the cymbals is great. This really feels like a painting to me. |

Some comments:
-I see a bit of a greenish color cast
-The grain is a little distracting. You don't note the ISO of this shot, but I'm assuming it's a high one?
-You might try a little work on the levels, as the cymbal/snare highlights are a bit blown, but the drummer's suit is all but invisible.

I imagine the lighting was a pain. There are some hard shadows in here and you lose detail in his jacket. I like the angle and how you filled the frame with it. I might experiment with a longer shutter speed to give a litle motion to his hands. i would say this does a good job conveying a jazz atmosphere. would look great as a set of prints each featuring a diffrent part of the band I think. |

It definetly has the feeling of music maybe not Jazz though. I think of like saxphone or trumpets when you say jazz. This does however give you the feeling of a jazz festival with the various insturments. Very well shot the colors are just perfect with the like golden tones. |
