looks like a collection of random stuff...no connection with eachother except they are round

For this contest everyone who has the word “circle” in their title is getting a max 10 score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I upgrade to 10 due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge need to be reminded of the topic of the challenge – we really need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will give a 10. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of voting – but scores are all I have.

Too much going on here. What is the theme of your still life? where is it's centre? Poor focus on the vase and coins detracts from the image, as does the dust on the CD and the lens cap. Interesting juxtaposition of the coin and the reflection of the lamp doesn't quite redeem it.

For this contest everyone who has the word “circle” in their title is getting a lower score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I downgrade due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge know the topic of the challenge – we do not need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will most likely not down grade, but it better be good. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of protest – but scores are all I have.

I think there are too many elements of this picture that have been cut off. I like that you were experimenting a little bit with the CD. I wonder if you could have played around a little with focusing in more on the coins on that surface for a more clear idea of what you are trying to portray.
You might even have tried to do something with the coins from different countries standing on their edges, but I personally would have tried that on a white background...

Its sad to say that this is a rather sorry attempt at a creative photo.

too random of a selection of objects...seems sort of thrown-together.

the composition here is not appealing

Too much stuff thrown in here just because it was a circle. I would have preferred if you stuck with an overall theme.

OMG coins and CD's, I'm sorry but this is just boring. I know thats rude but please give the voters something interesting to look at. Do us the honour of putting a little thought into your submissin and not just finding the first three round things and taking a photo. DPC is about challenging photography not a scavenger hunt.
