Very clean image; follows the Rule of Thirds quite nicely it seems. Crisp and clear; nice blurring of the background.

Big black shadows where once was the fruit of life.
Much emphasize on that because of the brighter background.
The compositional approach is a bit too much by the rules but the exposure/light is excellent.

A beautiful detail with wonderful textures, lovely low viewpoint and perfect composition. Presenting this in toned black and white really ensures one's focus on light, shade, texture and shape. There's also a haunting sense of time conveyed by this image and of seasons gone.

LOVE this one. I love b&w anyway, and this is a great image. DOF seems a bit shallow, I'd like to see INSIDE the acorns, but hey, i'm just being picky. Nice image. 7
