I think that I would have liked this better if you could see the people in it.

Very snapshot-ish. Sure it meets the challenge, but it lacks any artistic viewpoint. Be sure you are concentrating on taking a good photo first, and meetng the challenge second.

2 things to say:

Tree
Clipped the bottom.

Nice that you got the axis pretty close to center, but I think I would have been happier if it could have been a bit darker and the saturation on the buckets brought up a bit.

would be stronger without the tree in the foreground

Nice catch! if you stepped back a little bit and moved to your right a little bit you would of gotten the whole ride and the tree branches on the left wouldn't cover so much of the ride. 8

It appears that your camera metered the sky and underexposed the ride. A different time of day and a more dynamic angle would have added interest to the shot.

Good angle, like the motion blur. In a challenge with some top class pics I rate yours as a good second class pic.
I may of course be totally wrong, hope I am. I'm simply an old man of little experience and even less knowledge who needs to waste his time doing stupid things like vote on pics giving them poor ratings when someone has put their heart into producing this great masterpiece ................

there is noise in the image and the effect of movemenet is not properly rendered.

more motion, I want more motion blur. Maybe get some light on this side of the subject (somehow). It bothers my eye that it is cut off at the bottom, either need to be more aggresive cropping or more judicious, either one would help.
