Challenge: Circle (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix A340 Zoom
Location: Walmart
Date: Jul 4, 2005
Aperture: f4.0
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/480sec
Date Uploaded: Jul 4, 2005

Taken at a local WalMart store..happened to be shopping and thinking about the Circle challenge when I spotted these bicycles for sale..cropped, adjusted brightness/contrast, unsharp mask, curves...yes, I know the light is blown out on the chrome in center! But it was in direct line of the sun and this is basic editing...plus it gives it a little excitement.

I like bikes... they're nice... although the barcode and advertisement rings (?) take away from the image...

too much confusion for my liking. would prefer to see all wheels in same direction, for example. No single focal point.

This has a great photojournalistic quality. Dead on and very specific. I like the color and clarity. Having the one in the center go a different direction gives your eye a place to stop and rest. Good one.

i like how you separated the main subject by making it point a different direction than the others. but it still seems lost amongst the background :(
