 Shot on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal at Wheelton.

Some of the barges here are beautiful and very well looked after, however it's very difficult to get a good shot when they're all in a line at the side of the canal. I'm looking forward to summer when I can get some shots of them 'in action'.

Croppped only on the right hand side to make the barge more dominant in the frame, levels adjustment & slight saturation boost.

Very detailed pic, nice textures, good composition, a few distractions (other boats) but all in all a very nice job!

I like th mottled green of the foliage in the background, and how that contrasts with the shiny black of the boat. I also like the red boat contrasting in the background, but the stuff on the left in the back is distracting. Perhaps you could have gotten a more pleasing composition had you moved left and turned right a little? I don't know if that was possile. I like the ropes leading up to the red knob - draws your eyes into the photo.
