 Most of the snow had already melted but, I found this nice opportunity. Glacier Lillies don't have a long season. Shot using the SuperMacro mode which does limit file size.

This is a very striking photo. I love the juxtaposition of the flower and the ice.

nicely done. good color and focus. composition is a little busy...maybe a little shallower depth of field and/or darker background would work.

your yellow seems to be lacking details which is the main focus of the shot.

I think I would like this better if the flower was a little sharper and if the background wasn't so distracting.

Oh my! This is spectacular! Where in the world are you getting SNOW while getting such a gorgeous bloom!!! This is just a beautiful photograph. Not just a great macro shot -- but an interesting, incredible photo in its own right. Obviously I love it a lot. 10
