 Taken on a light table my mom has for doing her scrapbooking stuff.
Sliced the tomatoes as thin as I could, set them on the light table, put an extra flashlight underneath it because the one little lightbulb wasn't enough (imo) and shot away.
Not sure what I think of the b & w here. Couldn't get the WB where I wanted it though, so thought, "Shoot, I'll just do it in black and white."

why not in color? that would make the subject pop. these could be kiwis or tomatoes or anything.

Neat shot - I'd like to see the color version of this to see how vibrant it was. Why the b/w decision? Neat composition, I like the 3 elements that you decided to use... a bit darker than it maybe should be on the right hand side? - 6 - JeB

like the idea, but contrast not high enoughfor good b&w, and tomatoes are such interesting colours!

I like this idea, I thought of it myself (but didn' t implement), however, I think color would have given it more impact
