 who woulda thunk...that i would ever have found a use for mom's old royal...

i'm happy with the shot, even though as simple as it is, it was still a pita to shoot. i must have been nuts, because my first idea was to capture a motion blur of the keystroke. still might try that sometime, but not tonight--this was tough enough. focusing was/is a monster effort on the fixed lens. oh well, i like it, hope you do to.

post: cropped, slight adjustments for levels, hue/sat, brightness/contrast, sized, saved for web.

At first I didn't like this, But on the return I like it more, Maybe a little more light and sharper focus on the "9" key.

There is a lot of shadow on the nine key. A little lighting from the left side to lighten up that shadow would have improved this image.
