| The piece of rotting fruit peeking from behind the camera seems a little distracting. Not sure the other bits of fruit really add much to the photo. |

| Love the rotten fruit placed around this (& the fact that the camera's lying on the floor) - this really emphasizes the challenge's theme. |

| Composing an image is nearly as important as shooting in focus. I think the composition needs work. Do many different set ups and take a lot of still lifes such as this one, to see which one really demands you use it compositionally. |

| What'swith the fruit in this image? I don't get it, sorry. Also lighting and background just don't work for me. Maybe a closeup of the front of the camera would have worked better IMHO. |

| you need to focus on your subjects, not the dirt. Could give a little more light on the camera cover. |

| after some painflu staring, i have come to the conclusion it is a camera! On your deck out back...deck is abit bright, camera a bit dark. too much dynamic range here. The fruit bits...i have no clue. the one is behind the camera...why? the pic has a haze to it as well, the fruit is not vibrant, but washed out in color. |

| Seems too staged for my taste. The light is too harsh as well.... so sorry. |

| The composition is weak but the subject is good. Trying to fit too much into one shot. |
